I have always been an outgoing person, and my voice reflects that. As a child, I would always do silly impersonations to WOW my parents and friends. I liked to use my voice and personality to make jokes, instill powerful emotions, and entertain myself at times.
In 10th grade, I started working a seasonal job at a horror maze known as the Field of Screams, wherein I would be tasked to staying in character for over 3 hours each shift. That includes my voice, which I often molded into a loud, intrusive, and dominating character. I have worked there every October since, and continue to deliver incredible customer experiences.
I can do accents, improvise, and add fluctuations into my voice to allow for the best customer experience. My ability to work well with teams and be under pressure for long periods of time helps me stay in character. I use empathy while in character, meaning I can change how the thing/person I portray will act around different physical and emotional responses. I often read ahead of what I say during scripting to prepare myself for the best delivery.
