Hej!
My name is Susanne Nygren; I have been living and working in Malta since 1992 and am of Swedish origin.
Since I first arrived in Malta at the age of 22, I have been employed within the tourism sector. I have held various positions in a local hotel chain, starting out as a receptionist and being promoted to PA to the Managing Director, then Project Manager and finally General Manager for the group’s Incoming Travel Agency.
Parallel to working as a PA I read for a Bachelor's Degree majoring in Finance and Management at the University of Malta, graduating in 1999.
Between 2007 and 2011 I was employed by Hotel Audit Operation (HAO) Ltd. and was responsible for the setting up, the running, the recruitment and training of key-personnel and to develop the company’s standard operating procedures.
I speak and write fluent English and I am used to write reports in English in any of the positions I have held in my working life. I have also done translations from Swedish to English.
I consider myself to be hard working, loyal and highly committed to my work. I have a solution focused approach and enjoy challenges. I am self motivated, ambitious, a good team player who is able and enjoys working independently as well. Further, I am conscientious to detail and determined to succeed in whatever task I am facing.
