The requirements for the assessment : Using best current theory and practice, identify an assessment process suitable for use in a firm recruiting for consultant psychologists, drawing on the attached job description. Although it is likely that a number of measures would be used, select one test you may wish to include and critically review the literature relevant to your chosen test, providing evidence for its suitability. 1. 3000 word 2. APA format referencing 4. 7 or 10 days What we’re looking for : In choosing your test(s) you need to justify them theoretically as well as practically and so you need a theoretically informed argument about what the concept means that the test is meant to measuring. Provide a critical discussion of the advantages and disadvantages of the process/ tool/s you are proposing compared to other psychometric tests that measure similar concepts Your arguments should be supported with appropriately sourced evidence from academic research, this should be sourced from recent journal articles as well as text books. Demonstrate that you understand how validity and reliability has been established for the measure that you have chosen using appropriate literature for evidence.
