We have a self-hosted Asterisk server that is connected to our video conference application We are registering this Asterisk SIP account with our video conference application and Dialing into Webex cloud meeting and various telepresence hardware such as CISCO Telepresence, Polycom etc. Complication 1. It will mock an Asterisk server receiving REGISTRATION requests from SIP clients (Softphones or Hard Phones such as Cisco, Polycom, etc.) and it should reply as Asterisk does and it should show the entire dialog and optionally log it to a file. We are a VoIP company and are migrating to a different platform. Currently, polycom phones are able to download their dynamic provisioning files. However, when users on polycom phones change their preferences, such as adjust their volume, the polycom phone attempts a PUT request to upload a static file to our nginx server. Nginx responds with error 405, and we cannot figure out how to properly program nginx to allow file uploading from polycom phones. Looking for someone to shed some light on this
