I need to record the following process: Extract a dataset from a database in SQL Server, extract another dataset from a database in MySQL and another csv file from a folder, all of them into Pentaho data integration. Join the three datasets, delete some columns and export it into a new csv file. Hi, We need to embed a javascript code in a Pentaho transformation. The purpose is to transform a column model in a row model, and the javascript is already done. Why do we need a javacript ? In Pentaho, there is already a step called "Row normalize" but, it needs a predefined columns. There, the columns are not known in advance, we just know at what place they will appear. So we have a javascript done that is doing this, but now we need to put it in the pentaho flow with a script step. We join an example of source file, target file and the javascript code.
