We are developing a beach front property in the Dominican Republic. The name of the project is Puerto Bergantin Bay and we need a logo for the project. It will become a cruise passenger destination and is located in a Bay. The area was well known for sugar cane production. The Dominican Republic is an island in the Caribbean and we are located in Puerto Plata on the North Coast. This area was discovered by Columbus in 1492 and inhabited by the Taino Indians. The new cruise ships that will port here and very large up to 6000 passengers, modern and luxurious. This is what our current cover page reads.

In the 17th and 18th centuries, Spanish Sailing ships named "Brigantine" were visiting this Bay on the north shore of the Dominican Republic, thus becoming Bergantin Bay. Operating as a port for the colonial molasses trade, you can still find the remnants of the old pier and molasses holding tanks.

I extended the contest and also upgraded the prize to $410.00. So far all the logos I have seen are mediocre. #59 Is a 3 star not popping like we want it too. Would like to see something that really reflects the development.
