I am after a design/sketch of a futuristic pumpjack, YOUR OWN IDEA.
For those who aren`t familiar of what a pumpjack is, I have attached a picture here :)
Imagine a pumpjack used in the future, to extract an exciting new substance from the surface of a newly discovered planet !
Pumpjacks come in different styles but the concept is the same, a motor turns a shaft that in turn rotates a counterweight attached to a pivoting beam which helps push a rod up and down bringing oil out of the ground ... simple isn`t it
Some keys:
- you can draw by hand or on computer, important is the idea not how accurate it is
- it can be 2d or 3d, for 2d more angles is better
- you can remove components or change their size if you like
- you can add things like: light, additional components, motors, etc...
- new jack design should not be overly complicated
- the jack should be buildable with available materials on Earth so... futurist but not SF
- is important the new concept should still be easily recognized as a pumpjack!

    The entries are improving, but still looking very close to traditional pumpjack. Would like to see more imagination, be more daring with the concept

    I can see many entries are just sketches of simple Jacks made in the 60`s. Please read the title of this contest, the new jack should be new style, futuristic, high tech.
