Time to show off your skills. this contest is a little unique in that I am looking for someone with MAD design skills to create the book cover for a new book called -The Legend of Clevenger's Lost Gold- Aaron Werner at the top of the book and the words "with Linda Gatewood" at the bottom. I would like "1886" somewhere on the book.

It is a true story that takes place in 1886 in the Arizona/Utah area. The book explores the story of how the Clevengers left Arizona to travel to Idaho with gold coins and old currency from the sell of their property. Each night the old man Clevenger would bury the gold and currency to avoid "would be" criminals from stealing it. His hired hands turn on him and kill him for the money but are unsuccessful retrieving the gold so it is still hidden in the desert somewhere along the old "Honey Money Trail" in the Buckskin Mountains of Arizona.

I envision this book cover pulling the reader into the story. Peaking their interest. You will need to use art work from creative commons with commercial rights being that this book will be published and sold at bookstores etc. or create your own artwork.

The idea is that this book will attract Treasure Hunters and history students to study this amazing story.

If you want to do a fun project this is it! I have an independent group of people that will be judging the contest. Thank you for your participation.

I like how this book cover is designed but if it had a western theme with cowboys and lost treasure.

The year of this story is 1886. The final courtroom trial was in the old Prescott Arizona courthouse.

I envision things like 1886 Gold Coins, Old Silver Certificate Currency and maybe something like the court house, hanging gallows...cowboy scene etc. I hope this makes sense.
