Elbaadventure - ToonGrin's Logo
With our logo, we wanted to capture a minimalist approach that is more common in the field of logos today than ever before. We wanted to evoke the home of our host adventurers, the beautiful Isle of Elba. Not only did we want to incorporate the isle itself but we wanted to invoke a feeling of Italy. With the banner, we worked in the flag's iconic color scheme and we knew we wanted to include the isle itself. So to keep a sense of uniformity we made the isle green. This is because we wanted it to blend in only slightly while still standing out so making it a slightly brighter shade of green helped us do that. We felt the slightly brighter green still evoked the richness of the isle while also not going off aggressive to viewers. With the center font we wanted it to be clean and legible. We could easily discuss changing the font to any number of typefaces if the client has another option in mind. We hope that with this logo the client will be happy to begin their fantastic journey.
